¹⁷ and the priest shall examine him, and if^[a] the infection has changed to white, then^[b] the priest shall pronounce the afflicted person clean—he is clean.

¹⁸ “And when someone’s body has^[c] a skin sore on his skin and it is healed ¹⁹ and a white swelling or a pinkish^[d] spot appears in the skin sore’s place, then^[e] he shall show himself to the priest.
